A Jigsaw Board (Puzzle Board) Makes your Jigsaws Portable!

If you haven't got a jigsaw table that you can continuously devote to your hobby or you want to be able to move your puzzles from place to place in your home then a Jigboard might be the answer to your prayers!

Jigboard takes the best features of many different styles of jigsaw board and combines them together to make the ULTIMATE puzzle board! They are of rigid construction and completely covered in a special soft fabric that makes them a joy to work with. The fact that the board is rigid means that you can place it on the smallest coffee table and still be able to construct large puzzles without any hassle.

Alternatively, a Jigboard can be rested on top of your best dining table or any other shiny surface without the least fear of scratching. The fabric covering keeps the pieces attached to the surface and this, combined with a raised edge around the outside of the board, ensures that individual pieces are never lost. You can use your puzzle board for jigsaws but it is equally suitable for other types of puzzle, playing cards, dominoes and various other table games.

Jigboards (complete with a partly assembled puzzle) can easily be picked up and moved. Furthermore they are light enough to rest on your knee or to make jigsaws in bed.

Jigboards really come into their own when you suddenly find that you need a table for a different purpose; your jigsaw board can temporarily be moved to another room, the kitchen, a cupboard or even beneath the settee so that your table becomes free. This flexibility means it becomes much easier to "Manage" jigsaws in your home.

For most jigsaws up to 500 pieces - 520mm x 395mm (20.5" x 15.5")

Jigboard 1000 - jigsaw puzzle board for 1,000 pieces.
For most jigsaws up to 1,000 pieces - 750mm x 520mm (29.5" x 20.5")

Jigboard 1500 - jigsaw puzzle board for 1,500 pieces.
For most jigsaws up to 1,500 pieces - sizes up to 915mm x 660mm (36" x 26")

Lightweight Puzzle Boards

These are flat, blue coloured boards that have been designed to be as light as possible – ideal if you need to frequently move your puzzle from one place to another.  The surface on which the puzzle is constructed is covered in a baize material that makes puzzling a pleasure whilst the underside is softly padded to ensure there is no scratching of the surfaces on which it is placed.

Please note that these boards do not have a raised edged around the outside.  When the 1000 size board is used in conjunction with our jigsaw puzzle table it is wise to ensure that the table is not tilted at too acute an angle – otherwise a piece or two might fall off the bottom!
